This scientific-technical project is designed to mitigate climate change in the water cycle by making it less dependent on fossil fuels, integrating both external (PV, wind, potential hydroelectric)) and internal (chemical, thermal and mechanical) in the different processes of the cycle.
mechanical) in the different processes of the cycle. The methodology is divided into three specific objectives.
Knowledge of existing characteristics and difficulties within each region in the integral water cycle.
A political, statistical and technical inventory of the hydraulic sector.
Analysis of greenhouse gas emissions in the integral water cycle.
We will quantify both energy intensity and GHG emissions and develop clean technologies.
Development of governance solutions and guidelines from a technical perspective to mitigate climate change in the water sector.
The technical viability will be studied by creating different singular projects and the consequent economic viability together with the search for financing funds to carry them out. All this will produce a governance policy that combines the principles of efficiency, efficacy and cooperation, as well as social equity (communication)
